Any one know where I can find highlights from the games last night?

There aren't any. I don't think Rangers expected to win given the Isles dominance of them over last few years, so they never recorded the feed.

Its pre season, who cares.
All I know is Tavares stood out a team full of all stars on team Canada and Halak was one of best guys in tournament. Lets see if we can come out hot to start the season.

Barzal no question in a player. There is nothing this kid can possibly learn by going back to juniors. I expect Ho Sang to be our top line RW by midseason.

7 teams were in on Seidenberg, including Ottawa. All wanted to wait, but Isles step up. 1 yr, $1 million. Good deal.

#Isles have agreed to terms with Dennis Seidenberg, as @DarrenDreger reported. One year, $1 million.

Before some of you make stool in your britches, he's a LH defenseman so this likely won't impact Pulock's chances of sticking with the big club.

Don't have a problem with this at all. Actually thought he played real well in the WC.
Cheap contract experienced vet, nothing to not like really.

Why would anyone have a prob with him? He's certainly better than the other depth dmen the isles have brought in.

Could this lead to de Haan being moved?

Just chatted with Seidenberg here at the ACC. Really excited to be joining the Isles. 8-9 teams had shown interest but was tired of waiting

Always nice to hear that we were an impatient person's 9th or 10th choice.

That was my initial thought, but I don't think we'll see anything until at least the deadline. Hopefully he's just insurance against anyone getting hurt.

Sucks for Mayfield.

Why does the WC have a best of 3 final???? Thats possibly 2 more games that JT could get hurt.....or anyone else for that matter. Its ridiculous. Teams are starting camp.....be done with that nonsense.

I think your right Chief, Mayfield will be the odd man out, which honestly I don't have a problem with. I don't think he is fast enough for the show, Just mho.

Maybe a de Haan and Nelson being packaged? I agree we might have to wait until the deadline unless the Isles get off to a bad start and Garth might really look to deal.

Mayfield would have to pass through waivers because he has a one way deal right? Trade coming?

Really do think this was to add a versatile vet at a good price. Mayfield is a very different style D-man with very little experience.

Pretty much the case. I don't trust Mayfield to be a reliable defenseman for an extended period of time. Pelech can fine-tune his game getting 1st pairing minutes in BPT and we get a seasoned veteran that can fill in as-needed.

Yeah, who knows about a trade.

Mayfield is a RH shot so maybe they want to keep two extra defenseman on hand, to fill in for injuries/poor play based on what type of shot the guy who needs replacing is?

I don't see Mayfield getting much of a return in a trade.

I was actually thinking one of the top 6 dmen and still being able to keep Mayfield as the 7th. Dehaan might be the odd man out in the near future because of the expansion draft

I just hope it wasn't done because of Boychuk's nagging injury.

great depth signing. what if he signed b/c Boychuk injury is big concern. we might need the extra dman.
